How To Change A Cockspur Handle
Part 1 : Removal of the window handle
- Step 1. Pull the window into the closed position
- Step 2.Take out the screws the you can see with the handle in the closed position. The screws may be under a small cover and this can just be flicked out using a small stanley or craft knife. (watch your fingers)
- Step 3Then put the handle into the open position and take out the remaining screws
- Step 4 Once the handle is off in your hand you can start taking the measurements that are shown below
Measure the correct stack height for your handle:
- Step 1: Remove the handle from the window & Place the handle base on a flat surface, measure between the flat surface and the underside of the spur.This is marked as "A" in the picture
What Orientation do you need.
- Step 1: Take a look at the picture and compare your handls to see if you need a Right or Left handed handle.
