All the older versions of Ferco systems are no longer manufactured but don't panic.
The Ferco 635 locking mechanism will replace any of the older 035, 235, 335, 435, 535 versions, and the Ferco 528 will replace the 028, 228, 328 and 428 versions.
Older versions may only have 2 rollers where the new ones have 4 rollers. You could leave the 2 extra rollers to run loose, but if you add an extra 2 keeps to your frame this will use the door lock as it should be and give increased security. Extra keeps can be bought on our keeps page

Very Good Product and easy to fit
It was a direct replacement for my existing 2 roller lock. Word of wisdom for new buyers if upgrading from 2 roller to 4 roller - you will need to move the existing keeps and their positioning on the door frame is crucial (and a bit fiddly - make sure you have a SHARP drill :-)) PS the packaging is LARGE (as I was warned) and is now doubling up as a bazooka for my grandson.

It's very good really
The product itself is very good the online instructions however leave a little to be desired ** Comment from Handles & Hinges ** If any customer finds they are struggling with one of our products we are happy to help either by phone or email.

Delighted to find out that everything fitted !
Dear Sirs, I received today my order for a Ferco UPVC door lock and mechanism together with new handles. Bearing in mind that the existing door is a few years old, I was delighted to find out that everything fitted – as you said it would! The ‘over the phone’ advice made the fitting less daunting and everything works ok now. Please pass my thanks to the ‘boys’ and girls’ who were most helpful. I am afraid to say it’s very unusual to receive such proactive customer care; my advice from elsewhere was – buy a new door! I wish you continued success in the future. Sincerely
