Description

Replacement gear box for Siegenia, Maco and Roto Patio drive.

These locks can be found in:

Tilt and Slide Patio doors
Tilt and Turn Windows

The identical locking mechanism is no longer made so you will need to change the centre gearbox. This gear will be fixed by the screws provided and you may find that the old one may need drilling off but this is a very simple job for any person with DIY skills.

Please note that when you receive it the replacement gearbox is fixed in the middle rotation position with a transit pin. Once the replacement gearbox has been correctly installed into the door you will feel resistance for the first turn. Please be aware this is normal and once you apply a little force this will snap and the mechanism will be fully operational. (please note you don’t need to use excessive force as this would suggest it had been fitted incorrectly)

Did the job nicely and was better made than the original that it replaced. Couldn’t see what the long screws were for but better to have extra than be missing some.

ordered this gearbox and fitted to tilt ant turn upvc window unfortunately the side flanges fractured and fell off. was sent a replacement fitted in with no issues, works a treat!

Although a bit on the expensive side, this item arrived within the scheduled delivery timeframe. Very simple to fit to existing locking slides (came with 3 various size gear cams). Patio door working good as new once again. Very pleased.
