The hinge is simple to fix using self tapping screws and comes in various colours

Universl Composite Face-Fix Door Hinge is the ideal hinge for composite doors. Available in 5 attractive colours the 5-knuckle hinge is available in standard and 1D-adjustable versions.

The 1D-adjustable version provides +/- 2mm lateral adjustment on site for the installer. The hinge features a steel frame plate with 5 countersunk fixing points to provide a strong connection to the outer frame. The plate features discreet location tabs to ensure correct positioning on the door.

The sash component is fixed to the door via 4 screw fixings (and 2 locating pins on the 1D-adjustable hinge). The fixing holes are elongated on the standard version, providing it with a degree of flexibility in the factory or on site. The sash component is finished by an attractive metal curved cover that stands just 16mm proud of the door face. This is secured by a 4mm hex-headed bolt. Removing this cover provides access to the lateral adjustment screw (1D-adjustable version only).

Adjustment is carried out using the same 4mm hexagonal key used to remove the cover with the door remaining in-situ, The hinge knuckles are pre-lubricated to provide an exceptionally smooth action. The top and bottom of the hinge knuckle area and the fixing point for the sash cover are closed off with attractive cover caps to provide a neat finish and protect these areas from dirt and the effects of the weather.
