Description

Easy to fit window restrictor arm for limiting upvc double glazing windows, often known as a concealed restrictor as it sits in between the frame and sash and so cannot be seen when the window is closed.

Great for rooms where there is a higher risk of accidentally falling out. Ideal if you have a house cat or other pet that you need to keep in but get some fresh air at the same time.

No need to worry which stud size you need as it comes with a 9.5mm stud plus 2 packers to take the stud height up if needed

  • Spring–loaded releasable arm.
  • Manufactured from stainless steel.
  • Ideal for retro–fitting.
  • Comes with 9.5mm stud plus packers

    restrictor catch

Cannot comment as not yet fitted - no instructions for fitting included in the packaging so may have to employ someone, thereby greatly increasing the cost. Disappointed !

Universal Concealed Restrictor Catch for UPVC

Posted by Nigel Wilkinson on Jun 13, 2019

These are a neat solution to the problem of restricting the window opening, but the product would benefit greatly from some instructions, especially with regard to selecting the correct 'hand'. I also had some difficulty getting them to work with older style UPVC windows where the space between the opening casement and frame varies between windows. In one case, the pin component would not fit in the gap, even with no spacers. Going to have to modify that one a bit. But, they do work.
